Mixed breed of pasture and grain fed lamb. Breeds include Rideau, Dorset and Arcott. This year we are introducing some Ile de France into the breeding.

We chose the Ile de France as it is a dual breed that has a good mothering quality as well as excellent carcass quality.  Bred with our mixed flock of Rideau, dorset and some texal cross ewes, we have achieved market high prices for specific weight categories at the Ontario Livestock Exchange in Kitchener Ontario this winter.
