Our Eggs

Laying hens are free-range, meaning they have full access to the farm yard during the day. At night, they roost in chicken coops. Watch for our hens to greet you in the laneway. Poultry chickens are also pasture-raised and have closed quarters to safely roost at night.

Our Chicken

Come out and visit, you never know what other animal might be around.  I love poultry and the smaller breeds like the Silkies and Bantams.  We have a pair of each and allow them to hatch out their clutches at least once a year, more if they cooperate with us. :)  The kids love the baby chicks.

	We currently are using Rhode Island Red as our layer chickens but are adding a laying variety of colors to our every expanding flock.  With a purchase of an incubator, we will be laying and hatching our own layers to continue with our flocks. Click here for egg pricing
	Currently our meat variety is a White Rock that we  pasture raise during the warmer months.   With the purchase of our very own incubator, we are experimenting with different breeds that will allow us to raise our chickens from start to finish and know what each has been fed and treated with.
